Anderson+Kincaid to Create Public Visual Installations for Resource Center Health

A transformative new healthcare home for Dallas’ LGBTQIA+ community to feature work by artist duo Anderson+Kincaid

Anderson+Kincaid, the collaborative partnership of North Texas-based artists Ted Kincaid and Scott Anderson, has been commissioned by Resource Center to create a series of visual installations for Resource Center Health, a groundbreaking new healthcare campus dedicated to serving the LGBTQIA+ community with holistic, affirming care.

The project marks the latest chapter in Anderson+Kincaid’s ongoing relationship with Resource Center, one of the nation’s leading LGBTQ+ service organizations. Following their acclaimed interior installations at Oak Lawn Place, North Texas’ first LGBTQIA+ affirming senior housing development, the artists will now contribute works that activate and humanize the public spaces of the new Resource Center Health campus.

Currently in development through a $12 million “Our Health, Our Community” fundraising campaign, Resource Center Health will provide integrated, multi-specialty care in a welcoming environment. Services will include an on-site pharmacy, HIV and STI testing and treatment, access to PrEP and primary care, as well as hot meals and a food pantry for those living with HIV. The new campus aims to address longstanding healthcare disparities by creating a truly inclusive medical home for LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Ted Kincaid, a longtime member of the Dallas LGBTQ+ community, shares, “To contribute to a space where people are seen, cared for, and affirmed—especially in an area as vital as healthcare—is a privilege I take seriously. I hope our work brings not only beauty but a sense of belonging to everyone who walks through these doors.”

Scott Anderson adds, “As an ally, it’s powerful to be part of a project that prioritizes dignity and care. This work reminds us that art can live beyond the walls of a gallery and have a role in healing, welcoming, and inspiring.”

The visual installations will debut with the public opening of the Resource Center Health campus, slated for early 2026.

Founded in 1983, Resource Center is the third-largest LGBTQ+ community center in the nation and a cornerstone of support, advocacy, and wellness for people living with HIV/AIDS and the broader LGBTQIA+ community in North Texas.
